The Print Room is an ambiguous space-between in constant flux.
Traces of previous activity jostle one against the other, vaporous ghosts.
The secret life is in the thick of night.
Sound recordings and film of the Print Room
in the midnight hour when there’s no one else around.
Refracted through a variety of alchemical processes traversing analogue,
digital and discarded technologies, all the better to harness
the unheard and unseen.
Over a 3-day period this archive of sound and film stillness, silence and
absence will be projected back into the space that originally contained them,
retracing lost traces,
in turn leaving marks on the space-between.
